FAQ’S

I haven't had any information through since paying for my stand?

That is because all the info you should need is on the information sheets for each show.  Or possibly on this page.  So please read through the questions below and if you still have a question ring us on 01283 820548

When can I set up my stand?

Details of stand set up is on the relevant information sheet for each show.

Generally ground space traders can set up at lunchtime two days before the show (Friday for a Sunday start) 12-7pm

In the marquees, set up time is:

  • Country shows – one day before from 10am
  • Craft shows – one day before from 12pm
  • Food Shows – one day before from 10am

Set up on the day is between 7am and 9am but we really prefer you to set up the day before if possible.

There is to be no vehicle movement on site after 9am.

Where can I put my caravan/lorry/tent?

Details on the information sheet from each show, trade stands can park behind their stand all others will be told on arrival where they can park and camp in the dedicated exhibitor areas.

Do I need a pass?

When you arrive, security will meet you at the gate and take you to the right place.

When do I need to pay for my stand?

You pay a £50 + VAT deposit on booking, and the rest is due at the latest a month before the show.

Is there any discount if we book late?

No. Everyone pays exactly the same!

Do I get electricity?

You do if you’re in the craft or food marquee or shedding area.  If you have ground space outside it’s not included but you are welcome to bring your own generator if it’s quiet.

Are there tables and chairs?

In the marquees you get two wooden trestle tables (each 2m long) tables and chairs.  We encourage people to bring your own banners and backdrops etc, and a sign saying who you are (may sound stupid but it’s amazing how many people don’t!)

Do you provide shower facilities etc if we are camping on site?

No we don’t unfortunately.

Is there somewhere to get food in the evening?

At the country shows our catering tent is open and does trader prices in the evenings so you can get a full hot meal in the evening and also breakfast. Some of our other food traders also stay open late but that’s really up to them.  The bar is also open in the evenings, again at trader prices and usually quite busy!

At food festivals and craft shows there is no catering unless stall holders choose to stay open.
